How do I use VoiceThread?
  • Create Account: Be sure to get an educator account (the one that is free works fine). There is also an education side which costs a one time fee of $10.00. This link will explain the education options. VoiceThread in Education

Creating a VoiceThread:
  • Upload Media (From Your Computer or a URL)
  • Record Audio associated with your media
  • Share - email your link or embed your link into a blog, wiki or webpage.
  • Tag your VoiceThread, so that others in the class can find it.

What do I need to create a VoiceThread?
  • Microphone
  • Pictures (either on computer or hosted elsewhere)or other media such as documents or video.
  • Storyboard: Sketching out what you wish to create and writing down what you want to say for each picture can ease in the recording and thought process.
